Zain South Sudan Announced Tariffs Adjustment in Line with New Regulated Exchange Rate Juba, South Sudan – April 30, 2024 – Zain South Sudan, the leading telecommunications company in the country, today announced adjustments to its tariffs and pricing for products and services. This is in line with a new regulated exchange rate governing how all telecommunications tariffs are priced in South Sudan. The new regulated exchange rate was developed through a collaborative effort between Zain South Sudan, other telecommunications companies, the Bank of South Sudan, and the national communication authority. This change in the regulatory framework for telecom pricing took effect on April 30, 2024. As a result, Zain South Sudan is now implementing the updated tariff structure for its voice, data, SMS, and other offerings across the country.
